This week we have been learning about DASH? paragraphs for adventure stories.
- D = describe the setting
- A = use action
- S = use speech
- H = describe how the character is feeling
- ? = use a cliffhanger or rhetorical question
We wrote collaboratively and used a writing frame for this learning task, then we wrote our own paragraphs today.
As Ben and Max scrambled into the shadowy forest, they could see hundreds of spooky, dark trees surrounding a screaming house. Suddenly, there was a terrifying house and Ben gasped anxiously. “What was that?” Ben replied “It’s... It’s Chucky!”

ReplyDeleteFirst of all I think you should re-read your writing to see if you made sense. But other than that your writing was really great and I really like how you described what you saw and what you heard well done Max.
